Rebecca Daniel 

BA (hons) Early Childhood Studies.

Early Years Professional Status (EYPS)  

CACHE Level 3 in Child Care and Education


With over 10 years experience of working in early years, was appointed as manager in July 2017. 

Recent training has included supporting children in the outdoors, behaviour management and supporting 2 year olds.

Also responsible for Health and safety and Achieving positive behaviour as well as acting as the settings Special educational needs co-coordinator.

Jacqui Taggart 

 NVQ3 

 Jacqui has been qualified in working with children since 2006 and was appointed as deputy manager here at AEPP in 2009. 

Recent training has included Letters and Sound, our early years phonics programme as well as developing Outdoor learning opportunities

Acts as our Designated Safeguarding lead for children.

 Claire Hourigan

Childcare, learning and development diploma level 3

Claire is an experienced and qualified practitioner who joined the preschool in 2017.

Her most recent training includes a level 4 certificate in early years practise, autism awareness and sign language.

Claire has been working in childcare for 14 years.


 Adrian Berrisford

Cache level 3, specialist support

Adrian has many years experience of working across the different age groups in a school environment before successfully completing recognised level 3 training.

 Christina Hicklin

BA (hons) Early childhood studies

Christina has worked with children in full time day nurseries completing her honours degree in Early Childhood studies in 2011 and we are delighted she has joined our team this Summer, 2014, as one of our lead preschool practitioners. Specialist training has included dealing with food allergies, allergic shock reaction (anaphalaxis) as well as advanced safeguarding training.

 Katie Rowley 

Btec National Diploma in Childcare Studies level 3

Katie has a Btec National Diploma in Childcare Studies level 3. Recently she has updated hersafeguarding and food hygiene training and is a qualified first aider.


 Charlotte Dunnington 

Qualified Nursery Practitioner

Charlotte is a Qualified Nursery Practitioner, and has worked in various nurseries as well as working as a nanny. 


She has recently graduated with a level 6 Foundation Degree in Early Years. 

Charlotte is interested in completing Qualified Teacher Status. 

 In addition, all staff have received training on the revised Early years foundation stage, paediatric first aid and the safeguarding of children.
